Distressing Emotions: Problems to Fix or Healing Riches in the Healing of Trauma (Online)

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, October 8th at 10 PM CT.
Limited to 20 participants.

We yearn for healing for ourselves, others and our world. Some of us have devoted a significant portion of our lives toward that end with chosen vocations to support people toward healing. Yet it seems we find ourselves in a time when suicide rates among our young is at an unprecedented high, the capacity to converse respectfully and creatively with people who have a different perspective is at a low, healing resources are taxed to the max and the shadows feel like they are deepening.

What if there are treasures hidden in plain sight, where we can stuff our pockets full of precious healing riches and carry them into a hurting world? Come and re-consider distressing emotions. Are they problems to fix or healing riches to embrace?

Thursday, October 10th, 2024, 1pm – 3 pm Central Daylight Time (GMT – 5)

Nina Lau-Branson

These varied sets of experiences and skills are brought to bear in her work with individuals and communities.

Nina currently works as a spiritual director, coach, and consultant (with both individuals and groups). She is also on staff with the CenterQuest School of Spiritual Direction, a program distinct in its hybrid (residential/online) cohort model, that is ecumenically broad and global in reach.
