Spiritual Formation and Trauma-Informed Care (Online)

Church leaders, theologians, and theological educators are increasingly engaging the topic of trauma in recent history. While a significant body of research has illuminated our current understanding of the psychological and physiological impact of trauma upon an individual, less attention has been placed on the impact of trauma on one’s spiritual life. This 90-minute workshop will continue to unpack topics such as spiritual and emotional healing/recovery from trauma, intergenerational trauma, and trauma-informed care for churches and ministry settings.
